I've been writing professionally since my teen years, when I spent a summer in a local mall penning impromptu poetry. Once I'd written close to 900 poems, I switched gears and began writing children's stories. These days, I find my greatest source of inspiration comes from events that have taken place long ago and have somehow been forgotten. Historical fiction is a way for me to find these people and give them life again - to explore what might have been, and share pieces of history with others who might have never known about these people, places and events.

A few of my published works include Summer Rain: Getsikahvda Anitsalagi (The Removal of the People), A Dolphin for One, Rebellion in the Valley and a collaboration I was most privileged for contributing to - Rich Fabric - An Anthology: The Symbolism, Culture and Tradition of Quilting. Rich Fabric is a multi-media work and all the proceeds are donated to the Twilight Wish Foundation.

When I'm not writing, there is a good chance I'll be reading a couple of different books ... one e-book and one in actual print. Or I could be working on one of the original doll houses I love to create from plastic canvas and yarn (full-scale Barbie houses) or plastic canvas and embroidery floss (miniature doll houses). But then, I also love my bead work and enjoy creating one-of-a-kind jewelry for friends and family. At the end of the day, I cuddle up with my dachshund and catch some TV so I can relax, wake up, & do it all over again.

Join me on Smashwords or right here on Wattpad. I look forward to hearing from you :)
