Clarke was a main character and she was kissing a girl and it made me feel that I could kiss a girl and do anything too. Lexa and Clarke’s story gave me hope. Hope that my story wouldn’t end in tragedy just because I liked girls too. But their story ended in tragedy and since all I ever see in the media is gay girl’s stories ending in tragedy, it doesn’t make me think that my story will be any different? Clarke and Lexa were my hope. Hope for a happy ending to my story and theirs and that was just ripped away from me tonight. They helped me and a lot of people come to terms with everything and I don’t know how I feel anymore.''
