@kitiy687 - Hi, I suspect you already know the answer to this, but I'd be very surprised if this were anything but a rumour. But, I also can't give you a definitive answer on this as I don't work for Wattpad any more. 
            
            Ask yourself this though, why would they ban fanfiction? Unless you have seen something written in black and white on Wattpad or its social media channels stating that they're going to ban something or remove something then assume it's a rumour. 
            
            I know they updated some guidelines recently, and there's some information in the News and Updates 'story' on the @wattpad profile, but as far as I'm aware those updates were intended to clarify the existing guidelines with a few minor changes rather than anything earth shattering like removing fanfiction. 
            
            As for smut, that's always been at risk of removal simply because of what it is. Wattpad allows mature content but nothing more than that.

Hello Gavin. A question. Is it possible for users to see someone else public announcements on the social feed page even when the user has not selected the “announce this to my followers” button option or would that be a glitch?

@kristianabooks - thank you for the note and the encouragement. I'm actually writing a novella at the moment which is a bit of a new adventure. @TheOrangutan Sorry to hear that but I don't want to sound nosey but you were the best one god knows what happened to Whattpad, Ambassador profile they barely reply if people have question they come to you not their profile. Anyway have a nice day or evening and thank you so much for all your help.

@AuthorRavenBlack - I didn't quit, I was laid off, but that's perhaps a moot point. 
            
            A lady called Jen has been running the Ambassadors for several years now. But to forestall your next question, no, I cannot direct you to her profile, that's not how things work. 
            
            As I've noted, if you want an answer then your best bet is to go to the @ambassadors profile and ask your question there and one of the team should respond to you shortly.
