My face hurts soooooo bad. Just got my wisdom teeth out. The surgeon said it was easy, only took 'em thirty minutes. The scary thing is, I don't remember passing out. I didn't feel anything, not even when I woke up, only the gauze in my mouth and the small taste of blood. My tongue had swelled up, and I could hardly talk. I can remember the smell of laughy gas. It's smelt like goggles. Like that rubbery packaged smell when you first open up a new pair. The butterfly needle they stuck in my arm was familiar from when as child I had my blood drawn, however now it's was for anesthesia. I didn't get a cute sticker tho. When the surgery was over, they woke me up, walked me into recovery and sat me in a blue comfy chair next to four others. They gave me a fluffy blanket. I had my earbuds in the whole time. So I listened to more music. They allowed me to have earuds for surgery. That was fucking cool. Anyways, it's the second day of my recovery, and I want to eat more protein than just jello and mashed potatoes. I can start more easier foods tomorrow. Like soups that may have soft chunks, noodles, stuff like that. I had slept fine back at home. But waking up to take my meds, hurt so bad. I hadn't felt any pain in my sleep. Only did I when I drank some water to wash down the meds.
I was so scared honestly. I thought something went wrong, but guys, I guess there is a god? I just wanna go swimming now. But like I can't. I even got this free summer pass. Of course the day they open the pools, I'm all doped up on pain killers.
Anyways that was my Monday. I can't fall back asleep due to the pain. I hope the meds kick in quickly.
At least I'll have chocolate pudding for break fast. However no straws, and I can barely open my mouth. Sad day(s).
I'll try some jaw stretching later. Any advice?
