Things were tough for a while there; that and waning interest in GB put everything on a hiatus. However, my situation has resolved, and I’m determined to finish this fic before starting something new. That might take a while, but it will happen!

Hey author, how goes it? I’m hoping all is well in your world. I see the last post in your conversation was 2020 but Aftermath was updated all the way into 2022 (awesome btw). So, I’m going to ask “the” question, (dun dun duuuun), are you finished with Aftermath? I know sometimes authors forget to tag it as completed or they just lose inspiration. Either way, I’d love to know whenever you get around to it, please and thank you. Stay safe & healthy.

I have not forgotten Aftermath and fully plan to finish it. I’ve had some real life stuff get in the way and cause a lot of delays and frustration, but I promise to finish. It may be another month or two, but I will post more.

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that it has been a while since I last updated Aftermath. Like many writers, I’ve had trouble balancing new responsibilities (mostly caused by COVID) and other factors. However, I have NOT given up writing, and as soon as I get something written that’s worthy to post, I’ll share it with you here on Wattpad. Please don’t give up on me!

First, I hope everyone is healthy and safe! Those of you that keep up with Aftermath may have noted that I haven’t posted in some time, and I apologize for that. First, I think it was something I’m calling “Corona-Block”; I couldn’t focus on anything creative. Then all my classes went online. (I’m a collegiate lecturer.) For anyone thinking of taking or teaching an online class, it’s about three times as much work. I teach a few classes online at night anyway, so it wasn’t unfamiliar to me, but the transition was difficult. I’m sure many of you, both students and faculty, have experienced this; my experience is definitely not unique.
I’m almost finished—one class left—and once I get those grades in, I hope to get back to writing. If all works out, I’ll have something up within a week or two. I wanted to reassure all of you that are still keeping up with the quite-lengthy journey of Aftermath, I haven’t forgotten or quit the story.
Stay at least six feet away from everyone, and be safe, everyone!

Can you give an estimate on how many more chapters are left until the Aftermath story is finished?
@kmveit13 Good question! To be honest, if you'd asked me when I started, I would have said I'd be finished by now, but I'm rather wordy and keep adding things. (If I ever go back and edit it, I'll probably make a lot of cuts.) There are at least twenty chapters left--probably closer to thirty. Sorry I couldn't be more specific!
