My name is Rob; I am a Brisbane-based writer passionate about sharing pulp-style sci-fi, historical fiction and fantasy stories, driven by an eclectic cast of characters. Born and raised in Brisbane, I was an average English and drama student, but my love for reading Heinlein, Lewis, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Howard, Herbert, Benchley, Hobb, Feist, Eddings and many others ignited my creative spark. That and a fair helping of Dungeons and Dragons!

By day, I manage a Botanic Garden and have mastered classical horticulture, supported by an education in taxonomy and classification. In my spare time, I indulge in reading, writing, drawing, gardening, hiking, and playing with my cats, Blossom and Storm.

I find inspiration both in nature and the various atmospheres of a pub, where I often go to write. Whether I'm taking notes in the great outdoors or crafting stories at my favourite local, my work aims to blend the adventurous spirit of pulp fiction with the serene beauty of the natural world.
