I grew up in Cornwall, UK so inspiration was never hard to come by. From writing ghost stories on my mum’s computer, to completing my first novel, stories have always interested me. 
Fascinated by letters and poems written in the First World War, I strive to understand the complexities of emotion and the phenomenal strength of the human mind…or at least, that’s my justification for giving my characters more than their fair share of turmoil. 
I studied for a Psychology Degree at Aberystwyth University, although being a novelist has always been my dream. I have now crossed over to the dark side and live in Devon, UK. I'm sorry.
