I know it isn't marked that way yet, but I am happy to say that the story itself is complete!
          	
          	There are still some edits and changes that will happen, but the main portion is completed and the story finished. I hope to get the editing done in the next couple of months and be able to say 'completed' officially then.

Been a while since I've updated anyone, so here's the short version:
          
          Over the summer, I found a lot of my old notes and quick writes. I was reading through them when it dawned on me that all of them were able to co-exist in the same world. As a result, a great deal of background has changed for all of the stories I was planning on doing, including Firstborn.
          
          There has been a lot of reorganization in that story, and now it will be the first book of a planned 5 book series, each one concentrating on a different aspect of the same world. The final chapter will tie them all together in a 'final act' that will resolve all four of the previous stories.
          
          This required a bit of rework of some of the ideas I'd already been using in Firstborn, but it also made the path forward in the story much clearer and easier to write. Not everything will make sense yet - nor should it - but in time, assuming I keep at this, they all will.
          
          If you haven't looked at Firstborn in a while, I invite you to return to it and see what's changed, what hasn't, and what those all might mean for a young woman trying her best in a brutal world of sword, magic, and tradition.

Thanks to a completely random question in a discord channel, I’ve been a bit busier than usual working on Firstborn. Chapter ten was posted last night, and with Spring Break starting tonight, I hope to revise and release several more soon. We’re starting to get into the meat of what it means to be a Warrior...

Been lots happening lately with Firstborn - I spent a lot of time re-dividing up the chapters and chapter breaks for what I already had written and will have going forward. I've also been doing a lot of revising... and all of this has resulted in three or four chapters being released in the last several weeks. Enjoy, and hope you enjoy the read.
