I write poetry, mainly because I love being able to express my feelings through my words. But I also love being able to make people feel things with my words. And there is nothing better than taking nothing, a syllable here and word there, and turning it into something beautiful. And there is nothing more beautiful than the written word.

I am a college student, an avid reader, a dog lover, a cyclist, a kayaker, a photographer and an artist. I love being outdoors, and I gain most of my inspiration from being outdoors. I'll try most anything at least once. Why not? Life should be lived to its fullest potential.
