I love your Lower Decks story, but um was hoping to ask a few questions

6: Yes. Considering that Rex and Castro would be in technically the longest spanning dating relationship. They agree to become a couple during Season 2, Episode 6: The Spy Humongous and their break up happens following the events of Season 3, Episode 10: The Stars at Night. It is in the works to have Rex and Castro have an original chapter to themselves. That goes for all the minor fling characters. Rex and Durga will first meet pretty soon in the Season 1, Episode 7: Much Ado About Boimler. It is a little complicated afterwards since she and Rex are stationed on separate ships, so her and Rex’s original chapter might happen later in the series. Plus, Durga and Rex wouldn’t view themselves to be in a serious romantic relationship, more like friends with benefits. Their “dating” would be video calls with each other. Tem Shei the Areore Native girl would get an original chapter that sort of replaces the Season 3, episode 7: A Mathematically Perfect Redemption. Petra Aberdeen would get an original chapter (that could be a 2 parter) to start off Season 4 as Rex is traveling with her as a part of the archeologist guild as he is taking a break from Starfleet, but they break up on good terms when Rex returns to the Cerritos. Olly would get an original chapter during Season 5. With Olly wanting to start a relationship with Rex, but after one date they realize it isn’t going to work between them.

4: Since “Where Pleasant Fountains Lie” happens during Season 2, I haven’t really thought out the specific details of future episodes. I pretty much have a general idea of how I want Rex’s story to go in each season and the changes that would have to be made to include Rex while telling a compelling story. I write in an episode by episode basis to figure out what will work best. In this episode would it be more interesting for Rex to be with Rutherford and Tendi or to be on the away mission with Mariner and Boimler with transporting AGIMUS.
5: Same reasoning from above applies here. Though I know in that episode the simulation test Rex would be put through would have to deal with him being in a Chief of Security role. I personally thought Shari would purposefully put Rex in a simulation relating to The Doomsday Machine to mess with him, but I’m not fully committed yet.

@Nolan5501 always happy to answer them. 1: I actually plan on having Rex share the truth of what really happened to Edenoi with Tendi at the end of Season 1. As for their reactions, you will have to wait and see when we get to that episode. 2: Yes. That episode and all of Season 4 will really be pushing Rex and Tendi’s romantic relationship forward. For them to get so close to confessing their love, only for it to be ripped out from under them by the finale of Season 4 due to Tendi’s deal with her sister. Also based on that poll I posted within the story, it seems people want to see Mariner have a minor fling with Rex. So, Season 4 will also be the time for Mariner and Rex’s romantic relationship to be explored since Mariner believes he is available due to never actually confessing his love to Tendi. Then by Season 5, she realizes that Rex truly loves Tendi and they break up on friendly terms. 3: It’s not that Rex will be immune to female Orion pheromones, but they will have a very different effect on him compared to everyone else becoming completely infatuated.
