Reading has always been a great hobby of mine. Books just always seemed fascinating to me, you know, the way they could make characters as if they had actually lived. Just putting yourself in another world. My favorite author was Michael Crichton. He always created a world that had it's own set of history, laws, science and ideas. 
In fact, he inspired me to write. That's when I realized how difficult it was to come with an idea/concept and grow on it. My writing was pretty crappy at first, heck I am not that much better now, but I do have a passion for it. My hope is that I one day be able to write a great story but for now one can only dream. Never be too quick to judge someone, remember everyone has a chapter they don't read out loud. You may know their name, but that doesn't mean you know their character. 
I would appreciate it if you could leave criticism on how to improve my writing.
