I can tell you how I came up with my story and what I aim for. First, I see you want to do a chenford story. 1: I try to come up with a background for them, so for example, my one story I chose to make Lucy join the Navy. Keep Tim’s similar to the show. 2: I had some rough draft ideas as to the storyline. If you want to drag out them getting together or if you want it to start with them. 3: I tried to have at least six parts before I posted. I would also like an intro, as I would give a rundown of how they met if I’m starting them together.  Now I use my phone to type out my parts, then I use a computer and use Grammarly to correct my spelling and grammar. (I have dyslexia and writing is a tough task for me) then I replace what I wrote with the Grammarly adjusted version. If there’s anything else you would like I will try my best to help

Hello so sorry I just saw your comment from a couple days ago, if you need help writing I honestly don't know how to but I can give some advice about what I do because I'm thinking about writing. What I do is come up with senerios, with you wanting to write about The Rookie (I have not seen that just small clips of eps here and there). I also don't know how to write fan fics I've never read any of them, but I would say come up with things you would want to see or wish to have happened and write them down and create a story structure like one of those things you see in a school like a plot, characters, exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, denouement. Also, if you don't want a fan fic I would think come up with names that are similar or other names that you like. That's all I have in advice for a book, but this is your book if you think about writing, I'm also not a perfetional so I have no idea what I'm doing, sorry for the big word dump I hope everything goes well with your story :)
