What is the Shortys?

The Shortys is an ambassador run contest in which is aimed at poetry, flash fiction and short stories. It is split into three main categories of submissions: 

1. Short Story - (2001-5000 words)

2. Flash Fiction - (500 - 2000 words)

3a. Poetry - (10-20 lines)

3.b Poetic prose - (1000 words)

When is the Shortys?

Submissions for the Shortys open on the 1st of September each year.
