For anyone who reads this, I don’t know your relationship with your parents, I hope it’s good, but if you can look past any of the bad stuff or hard times and remember all the good things you had with them, cherish them and remind them that you love them. Without them, we wouldn’t be here today. Just tell them you love them and if you can, give them a hug.

Yea, they may have been times where they act like slave drivers and make my blood pressure go up. But they still act like what I want them to be: parents who give a crap about me and my siblings.

          	  That abusive prick was ten years older than my mother when they met and he essentially groomed her. Throughout their so-called “relationship,” he was a paranoid asshole who constantly accused her of cheating and abused her both physically and verbally. At one point, he hit her with a scalding hot frying pan. She needed skin grafts because of it.
          	  
          	  The abuse became so severe and the relationship so toxic that she had to escape. Every time that bastard left the house, he would lock her inside like she was a pet. When I was a baby, she literally had to climb out of a window just so a social worker could help her get away.
          	  
          	  He was never part of my childhood. I met him for the first time when I was already an adult. The interaction was short and completely emotionless because by then I already knew the sick, disgusting things he had done. I want nothing to do with him or his side of the family.
          	  
          	  Knowing all of this, do you seriously believe that MONSTER deserves anything like what you described? especially considering what I have told you is the more "tame" things he has done.
          	  
          	  Just so you’re aware, I know you didn’t know any of this about my father, so this isn’t meant to be directed at you. All of my anger and hatred is reserved solely for the piece of shit who dares to call himself my dad.

Take as much time as you need.l, while I don't know the pain of losing my parents, I do know the pain of losing an important family member as my brother died a year and a half ago. Stay strong my man and just know you ain't alone in this as I and everyone here are here for you in these tough times

Hey King. Keep your head up and those good memories in your heart. Loss is a bit of a bitch so just keep moving forward and celebrate all the good times. My dad always told me he doesn't want people to be sad after he passes he wants them just to remember the good times and he hopes the memories are good enough that they smile when they think of him. Keep strong brother. Hope I helped even if it was just a little bit.

@ejboss31 I’m sorry that there hasn’t been an update on the story, I am going through a major loss in my life and have not had the drive, passion, or mental status to write anything. Things have been getting a bit better, but it still may be a while until I come back to writing. I’m sorry to keep you and everyone waiting.

I wanna write and update some stories, but life has been so hard this new year with family health issues…to those who are waiting for some updates, I’m so sorry but I can’t keep my head straight right now. I hope all of you are having a better 2026 than me, and I’m sorry for the lack of updates.

Happy New Years everyone. Thank you to those of you who chose to stick around and read my works, it truly means a lot and I can’t appreciate you all enough. One of my resolutions this year is be a bit more proactive and actually nail down a schedule of sorts for uploading chapters and get some of my drive back for writing. It’s been rough towards the end of 2025 with my family suffering from certain health issues, but things are starting to look brighter and I hope I can improve my writing skills for you all. I hope all of you have an amazing New Year and stick around for more updates. Thank you so much.
