@scifiwriter Thank you, that's very kind of you to say about me! I'm happy to check out your story!
            
            I went to Syracuse University and studied communications/journalism. When I graduated, I got a job at a small magazine publisher, then at The Huffington Post. Then it was off to the races! I also make short films, and am finishing my biggest one yet as we speak.
            
            I'd be quite flattered if you'd give my story a read and let me know what you think!

I have more written than what's posted, but because it's a serial story, there's more to write! I'll put up a new chapter sometime this week - which date do you think is best?

@TheSphereStory I am sure that can get frustrating. I am working on selling my art and even just trying to think of the business side of art and writing on the small scale. It is a headache and  it takes some of the joy out of the work. I'm working towards a future as a stay-at-home mom, though, so it is worth it to me. 
             I am glad you have found a platform where you can stretch out a bit too. Wattpad is a great community once you know how to maneuver in it and find your intended audience. I've learned so much already. 
            
              You seem to be doing great like I said. It's a social platform first and foremost, so it just takes a bit of time for people to know you are here. If you have are putting out quality stuff and being consistent, you should do good. I'm sure you know all this ,though, the same principles probably apply in your day job. I just like talking and sounding smart.

@JillanePurrazzi Thank you for all this advice! Seriously, so valuable and encouraging. The nice thing about doing this is that I can post my writing straight to the internet, whereas when I write a film, there are endless layers of moneyed interests and bureaucrats to impress; it becomes exhausting and joyless to even write sometimes, knowing the obstacles to getting something made. And when I write short films, I know it'll be expensive to make it myself!
            
            So it's good to know I'm doing OK and the followers will come - encourages me to write more!

@TheSphereStory It will. If you are 99 reads at 7 parts, that's pretty good. The placement in Sci-Fi is supposed to be difficult. I never had issues myself, but I think that has more to do with regular updates than anything else. 
              It just takes a while for people to figure out what is there. It took me about 20 updates...two a week...to get to the place that I had noticeable regular readers. That is what is most valuable to me. Feedback will be your best friend. :) 
              Check out a book club if you have the time. I'm part of Good Reads, and that has been a great adventure.
