sooooooooo my dudes... i've been slightly inactive lately, but never fear! i have a status update!
          
          i've unpublished "Rosaline" and "The Devil's Horn" because I've been feeling very sad looking at those unfinished bois and i want to put them to the side for now.
          
          on the bright side, i've been doing lots of research for "Sparks and Smoke," which is going to be getting a massive rewrite in the future!
          
          in the meantime, i have a concept for a realistic fiction story i'll be unveiling shortly!

          I'm doing pretty good myself, since I have a new short story for you, written for a tournament hosted by @The_Fireball_OG! It's called "Pick and Choose," and it's a romance that takes place on an exotic island. Yeah, I know, it's way out of left field for me, but I put my own spin on it, I assure you! The action involves hibiscuses, boom mics, and red baseball caps, and it goes kinda gay at the end. Nice!

I think I'm realizing something. Almost every story I've uploaded here on Wattpad has some kind of historical element to it that requires extensive research. Whether it's witch-hunts for "Sparks and Smoke," Italian Renaissance for "Rosaline," or 19th century Europe for "The Devil's Horn," it's just... a lot of research.
          
          And I think that, whenever I embark on a research-based project, I burn out.
          
          As a result, I think I should just try my hand at some good old realistic fiction for once while I slowly gather up research for my other projects. Maybe I should unpublish S&S and Rosaline for the time being so I don't have to stare at them and wallow in misery and get out of ONC for this year just so I feel less sh*tty about my writing ability? 
          
          Maybe just writing what I know for the time being will be better. What do y'all think? Please let me know :))

I've been offline a lot lately on most platforms thanks to spring break, the emergence of many new commitments in my "real" life, and the need to take some time off for the sake of my sanity. I'm sorry for being so inactive, but I'm hoping to come back with my writing soon!
