anyone else learning a language find that they can read/write really well but when they have to listen to a native speaker you literally don’t understand a word they are saying? same.
          
          
          but then in OTHER languages you’re learning, it’s the complete opposite?? i honestly find that french, spanish, italian etc (being in the second div of language from english) are so difficult for me to speak/hear, but languages like japanese (4 divs away from english) are easier for me to hear and speak rather than write and read.
          
          
          like is my brain trying to kill me when i hear ‘comment t’appelles-tu’ and immediately reply with ‘ça va bien.’
          
          what the hell. WHAT THE HELL.

Every time I go to edit a new chapter of The Us Before Us I always scroll past the unpublished ‘Pool Scene’ that just didn’t fit into the story.
          
          
          But lord do i wish it did lmao,, thinking of publishing it as a 1k vote chapter one day❤️
