I'm happy to announce that the final 5 chapters are done and it's been closed to a year since I updated the story, I apologize for that.  Chapters 26 and 27 have been looked after by a Beta reader I might upload them sooner rather than later.  However I'm not to the point where I'm comfortable uploading them just yet. Chapter 28 through 30 Still need to be worked on especially chapter 30 the final chapter.  I need to add a few more scenes to expand The chapter and make sure it makes sense and then I'm going to I'm going to read over just to make sure everything makes sense.  I'm gonna be working on it this weekend possibly after work After that I am going to be working on a prequel  It might tease my next story After the after the prequel.  But right now I just want to focus on chapter 30 and make sure It has a satisfying ending to this book, not the end of the story but at least the end of this book.  Until then please be patient I'll try to upload them as soon as I can.

Okay I thought I posted a message similar to this in March but apparently I didn't so here's an update. The class that I was taking for the animation project had to be dropped we couldn't meet the deadline in time the good news is that the progress that we made that's why I'm going to continue to go for next year so we don't have to completely start over in fact we can improve upon it over the summer so that's the update for the project.
          
          For the story however I'm currently almost complete with chapter 28 and after that there are two more chapters I have to write for the story to be complete. However I've been contemplating whether or not if it's to do this or not but I think it's probably for the best. I think it's better if I were to finish all five chapters and then post then weekly whenever the final chapter is complete and looked after by a beta reader. While I am posting those chapters I will work on the next story. If this news upset you I'm sorry I think it's best if I do it this way instead of me posting one chapter and you guys waiting months on top of months for the next one. This has to do with prioritizing school and my new job. Now that school's almost over I can try to focus on this story and my new job. But just bear with me just a little longer we're almost towards the finish line and hopefully I can write a conclusion that both satisfies me and you, I'll be back soon take care.

Hey sorry it's been a while I've just been busy but I'm going to say right now....
          
          At my current position of where I am in the story I have three more chapters left to write. Unfortunately school and now my current job are my main priority right now. I am doing an animation project with someone and animation takes time. And it's supposed to be 10 minutes but the due date is in March so I have completely focused on that. And again unfortunately because of the current pandemic they canceled our spring break (that makes a lot of sense let's work our students doing a pandemic and not give them at least a week to recuperate.)  after March I will start focusing on the story and hopefully finish it. If I finish the animation project somehow early I will continue to work on it. 
          
          However chapter 26 and 27 are done and again they are very long chapters 26 in particular so you will have a bunch of stuff to read whenever they release. Believe me I do want to release them now but after receiving some criticism about grammar and everything I just prefer to wait for my Beta readers to finish. Once I receive a message telling me that they're done I will release them immediately. 
          
          Perhaps when animation done you'll see why I was focusing on this project that was done by Robotech-animations. He did the story and characters, I honestly believe if he does this project correctly and has the right connections he can make this a very good tv show from what I'm reading from his script.
          
          But that's the update I'm sorry that this is taking so long my goal was to finish this story by December.

          Everyone except for Snotlout laughing but Astrid was the first person to speak, "This place is better then what you described. Yet I didn't even see everything I might just explore this place a little more tomorrow with Stormfly."
          
          Fishlegs was next, "I'm still trying to learn how to read in your language but I found some of the books in the library to be very interesting there was even one that was in Norse that was talking about-"
          
          Snotlout quickly started talking about, "Yeah, Yeah no one cares about what you've read or about history or whatever and I hate it here! It to hot and there nothing to do! The only thing that looks interesting are the women here but I have eyes set on someone so what is it to do?"
          
           immediately everyone except for Kindle and the twins because they weren't paying attention looked  disgusted by what he said because we all knew who he was talking about. But isn't she like 30 years older then him? How old is Valka anyway?
          
          Kindle was confused by all of our faces and the asked me, "who is he talking about?"
          
          I turned towards her, "I'll tell you later right now I want you to keep your appetite."
          
          Then I turned towards Snotlout, "By they way you of all people should care about history. For what I can tell you don't learn from your mistakes and I know for a fact you can't learn from other's. So if you take anything when ever you leave this place remember this. We need to know our history from ourselves, others and our ancestors so we don't make the same mistakes they made."
          
          "Very wise words for a commoner."
          
          I turned towards my left to see my entire family coming through the door and in the front was my father. He the walked towards the front of the table right next to where I was sitting. I was confused why he was sitting next to me but then I remember that this the spot I used to sit to talk to him. I'm such an idiot!
          

Once again I apologize for the long delay I found a beta reader to help me with the next chapter and we're trying I do fix a few issues up past tense. Next chapter be coming sometime this week I just have to make a few more edits.
          
          

If a beta reader did not contact me within the next few days I'll post the next chapter next week.

37,690 unedited that's how many words are in chapter 26 I just now finished it. HOLY $%/T three and a half months I've been working on this and it's finally done now I can focus on editing chapter 25 but now I need both opinions on this website and I'm fanfiction to see if I should separate this chapter into two separate parts or have you guys read the entire thing in one piece. Right now chapter 26 done I thought it was going to be 20,000 words it nearly doubled or it might actually double when I finish editing it oh boy this is going to be a long process.
          
          But now I can focus on editing and fine-tuning chapter 25. Once I'm done with that I work on chapter 27 and I pray it's not long.
          
          Sorry for the lack of updates but school and try to finish up this story taking up my time.

          "Ronde come here and look!"
          
          I looked over towards the front of the ship and saw my mother waving to get my attention. I ran over to her side with my Kindle behind me curious as well. I looked to see what she was pointing at and I saw a sight that I believe I would never see again. It was still as beautiful as the day I looked back when I was leaving here. My home, my country, the place I was raised and born in, Afri was just on the horizon.
          It wasn't that far from where we are. All the progress we made has led up to this. I looked over towards the bright orange sky, there is still some time before it gets dark. I was happy seeing the mountain and the forest in the distance.
          
          But then I noticed something, some sort of dot in the sky. No wait there are now two dots getting bigger and coming towards us. Then I saw the outline of a dragon, "Oh no Mother I think we have company!"
          She looked over and saw where I was pointing at, "Those are the guardians of our borders. Just do not attack them and we'll be fine."
          
          Was she sure? I mean a lot of things had happened while I was gone but they looked very threatening.
          
          It didn't take long for the dragons to hover over our ship. It turns out to be two monstrous nightmares with a person on top of them. Each person looked around at our ship and shouted in my people's native tongue, "utapita Maji yetu ikiwa hautageuka tutashambulia!"
          
          
          

I forgot to add that one of my Beta readers Fantasia Komix has enhanced chapter 14 and I also forgot to add one of the themes music into the chapter as well but I fixed it I do believe that music goes very well with that moment. 

Okay I know I said this before but I'm confident this time the next chapter is coming out this week. It will either be on Friday or early Saturday (possibly even earlier than that but I know this was some people's first week of school so I would like to give them a break for reading for this week and let them enjoy the story over the weekend). There going to be something special inside that chapter as well. But it's late for me so this is just an update.
