Hey everyone! DatNezcrosman here

I just wanted to share something a little special. I’ve been working on a new story called “The Scary Elk Lady,” and it’s finally time to put it out into the world. I’ll be honest—I’ve been sitting on this one for a while, hesitating, second-guessing, wondering if I should even publish it. But I finally gathered the courage, and I’m really excited (and a little nervous) to show it to you.

This story is deeply inspired by the shows I grew up on—Adventure Time, Over the Garden Wall, Gravity Falls, Infinity Train—all those Cartoon Network-style masterpieces that weren’t afraid to mix weirdness, humor, and surprisingly mature themes. Those shows shaped my imagination. They taught me that you can tell heartfelt stories in strange, surreal worlds… and that sometimes the best adventures are the unsettling ones.

The Scary Elk Lady is my love letter to that kind of storytelling: whimsical, creepy, emotional, a little funny, and very, very weird. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Thank you for supporting me, and I hope you all enjoy the first out of 9 chapters

@TheVibeKing While I am deeply engaged in your Pokémon fanfic, I am curious about this story as well. The current plan is to continue getting back into writing my own stories, but I definitely want to make time for checking this one out as well. Your writing has already set expectations. After seeing what you can do with established media, let's see what you can do with something original.

The latest chapters of your story were enjoyable. Every little detail we learn about Fang's past makes me want to know more and more about what really happened back then. You have a talent for building engagement in storytelling.

TheVibeKing

Thank you so much!! I’m really trying my best — I know I’m not at your level of storytelling yet, but I can feel myself getting better with every chapter. And hey, you just got a tiny taste of my horror style! I love horror, so I’m sprinkling bits of it into the story where it fits.

Here’s something I can reveal: this whole story takes place during the Mystery Dungeons… but from the perspective of someone who is just a pokemon. And Eiden? Yeah… he’s not a Pokémon. He’s human. Do whatever you want with that information. ^^

I’m still working on Part Four, so brace yourself — things are about to get wild. Nothing and no one is exactly what they seem… ^^

Also, what did you think of the action scenes?

 Happy Halloween !!

TheVibeKing

And please don't rush to read the 2 parts I release. Take your time. I know you're busy, don't rush anything, the reason your story is so amazing is because you took your time. So take your time, remember you got my full support!!,

@TheVibeKing oh no worries, I don't celebrate Halloween either, I'm just saying for those who do. Right now, though, I am starting to celebrate Christmas since I am puerto rican. Christmas is early for me.

@TheVibeKing I don't celebrate Halloween, but thank you for your expression of good wishes in a manner which you're accustomed. I hope this day finds you well yourself. I still haven't gotten a chance to read the new chapters to your story, as there is a lot for me to juggle around lately, but I will do so at my earliest convenience.

Part 3 of AshFang: The Ember Oath is finally out!!!

This chapter was just a taste of what Fang is truly capable of — a glimpse into the storm that’s coming. Part 4 is already in the works, and trust me, it’s going to be packed with even more action and violence as things heat up.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Part 3 — share your reactions and theories throughout the story! Your feedback means a lot and helps shape what’s to come.

TheVibeKing

Thank you all so much for the incredible support! Seeing so many of you read AshFang means the world to me.

For those who’ve read Parts 1 and 2, get ready—Part 3 is diving straight into the action. It’s taking a bit longer than expected, but I promise it’s going to be an epic, action-packed ride!

          And happy early, Halloween!!

Chapter 2 of AshFang: The Ember Oath is OUT!

I’ve been working super hard on this one — late nights, tons of writing, and a burst of inspiration that feels like I just downed a Red Bull! I’m pumped with energy, and I can’t wait for you all to dive in.

Part 3 is coming soon, and hopefully it’ll give you plenty of fuel to cook up your theories and start connecting the dots.

Check out Chapter 2 now, and let me know your thoughts — I’m excited to hear what you think!

TheVibeKing

For those following AshFang, the first part of the series is now live! I’ve revised the opening section to better connect with what’s coming in Part Two. I highly recommend rereading the beginning to catch the new details and hints I’ve added.

Feel free to share your thoughts — I’d love to hear your feedback on the changes!
