(You guys: “Leah stop posting new book ideas and books-“

Let’s start at the beginning, Y/n was your normal adult y/g (Your gender/pronouns). They lived in a small town and didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. Their favorite show was Gravity Falls, and the fandom recently had a renaissance. Y/n was all over the show again. They bought the book, they rewatched the episodes, and they even found new codes on the website.
Part of Y/n always hoped a new season would arrive, but Alex made it very clear it wouldn’t. To cope with the fact that it would never happen, Y/n spent 2 hours a day discovering every piece of lore they could.
It’s present day and Y/n is currently fiddling with the website. The constant negative buzzing when they input something wrong is starting to hurt their brain.
‘Illusion’
Beep.
‘R3ality’
Beep.
‘12345’
Beep.
‘Suysgenepsysgsvsjsidudbbskaoeurbrb’
Beep.
They rest their head on the keyboard, tired of the noise. Y/n takes a sip from their cup of hot chocolate. It was a very chilly afternoon in the cabin. They glance out the window, staring into space. No codes had worked, absolutely nothing after an hour of input. Suddenly, an idea popped into their head, a new code idea.

The screen went blank, then Y/n couldn’t see anything. When they looked up from their screen, they realized everything was dark, not just the website.
“What the…” They whispered into the endless nothing. No echo was heard despite the new spacious room.
Y/n looked down at their phone, only to realize it was gone. Where were they? Was this some sick joke? But they knew this was all too real.
