Passing unnoticed though the foliage Monarch made her way ever closer to the woodlands surrounding the cabin. The Impenjuela sat tightly against her wrist, ready and waiting. It was true, she had not been one for caution, but the change of air had not gone unnoticed. Silent mechanism of both magic and machine worked simultaneously, weaving at her command several glyphs. The copper coloured incantations spread the length of her arm, teetering over her shoulder like a glove. These would be hidden by the sleeves of her coat, but would not be impaired by it. Note that this process would happen almost instantly. The Synerkey sat waiting at her throat, a constant reminder of what she had lost to gain such a link to the aether realms.
Monarch made her way to the front door. As one of the glyphs existed as a cloaking spell, it would be irregular for any in the area to know what she had done. She raised her fist and knocked on the front door of the cabin, listening not only for the sound of a response, but for any life within it.
