Cold skin. Fearful eyes. Trembling hands. Pounding heart. Every night, the screaming occurred as the nightmares pursued, the green eyed boy scared for his life but once more. The thought had never left his head. The memory had never been forgotten. The fear had never left his being. Those vile words never left his ears. Those sick, fowl, revolting words that made his skin crawl and his eyes well up with tears. Those words that made him tremble and made him sick to his stomach. He'd never forget the way those words were cooed into his ear that night - the way the breath felt against his ear, the way the weight nearly crushed him, the way the cold metal felt upon his skin, the way the stench of iron filled his lungs. He'd never forget the face that hovered inches from his - The face of that who left him inches from death. The face that would haunt him for the rest of his days.
