Regardless of what it is, it is freedom.
So what would you give? Take the wheel of my choices from birth?
And have me dance to the tunes of oppressive traditions.
Or destroy the wheels before they can even set
And watch me become the with which the whole world chooses to reckon.

I already awakened to the heart of my mother beating freedom into my ears.
My legs already kicked against the bars of her uterus in the fight for release.
In my past life I was that one orisha who challenged the moon to a sword fight because my people wanted the sun to shine.
In the life before that, I was the only Goddess sitting amongst gods,
Because when they said serve me, I pounded their words back into their mouths.
And in this present life I rewrote the dictionary to fit my taste because I detested the word (world) "rules"
