Rooster Teeth is shutting down and Warner is trying to sell their IPs like RWBY... Hell of a time to go on Twitter, almost doesn't feel real... I know I don't go on here too much anymore but felt like I should announce something like my thoughts since RWBY was/is my main thing I wrote on here for a long time.
I was always a huge fan and part of being one is knowing when a series really took a dive. Monty Oum deserved so much more and wished he was alive today to see where he took it. Maybe it would've been 7 volumes long or he mentally planned 20 that he never got to write down but I'll forever grieve the man that brought us an interesting series that could've gone so far but unfortunately his death left the series in hands that weren't ready for it. So many issues I won't name to avoid any war or whatever but it wasn't perfect, so many times they'd write something with potential then drop the ball. I only watched because of curiosity and hope it would get a lot better and now that it's over and if it does get sold it'll most likely be rebooted or rewritten completely so more than likely the RWBY we know is gone, if whoever decides to pick it up continues it great but I have a feeling there would be changes anyway (mainly voice actors).
I'll miss this series despite it all. Where does this leave me and my sis? Well I always wanted to write my own RWBY story, my own version of it that closely follows what Monty was gonna go for but I don't speak for the man, I can only do my best and honor him as I'm sure his collegues did for him but like I said they possibly weren't ready for it. No promises, I'm done with those but my fingers are iching to write something. Time to scrap the project I was working on to do this, I hope to have some news and remember, you have a voice and the power to put yourself out there. Push it and you'll make it. Until next time, have a great day/night.
Ad Victoriam, my friends
