Mark is from the UK and now lives in the Far East with his wife, where you can find him living and exploring remote wilderness regions. A tech product designer by day and a writer by night, Mark loves all things grimdark, and his hobby for reading soon became an obsession with writing. 

Mark uses his travel adventures and experiences to inspire scenes, characters and cultures for his books. His debut novel, 'The Darkness Steals the Light', was conceived during the bitterly cold nights while tracking snow leopards in Tibet. 

When he's not engrossed in work and travel, you can find Mark indulging in his many obsessions, which include cycling, hiking and attempting to cook. His other interests include the pursuit of finding the perfect pint of IPA.
