I'm an Australian writer that is at the age of 14. I love most books and I think that if you want to write you shouldn't be scared of what others will think. Just do what you love and what makes you happy no matter what others think. Don't be scared to embrace your talent. If you ever feel anxious about a book you are going to write/are writing don't be.
