I just want to stop the sounds, the smells, the lights, but in order for it to stop I have to have an overwhelming amount.

So you know how SCP-096 "Shy Guy" activates when people look at them? What if there was something like that, but instead of hunting, it creates an explosion with a large enough radius to kill the person that activated it. It doesn't need to be activated by sight though, it could be just reading off a code of some sort, like a set of numbers.

So a person activates it, and the device sets off an explosion that reaches the activator well enough to kill them. The explosion doesn't have to be immediately fatal, it just has to put them in a position to die quickly. When the activator is 5 feet away from the device, the device sets off an explosion in about a 6 foot radius. But when the activator is a mile away from the device, it sets off a much larger explosion, big enough to reach the activator and inflict the same amount of damage.

Maybe this can be incorporated into Dn'D. Eh, too powerful. Not worth it.

Everyone is always complaining *cough cough* bragging *cough cough* "My life sucks, no one has it as bad as me" Well ya know how to tell that my life sucks? I've never been to Five Guys. So I'm not sure weither it sucks or not 'cause I've never gone.

Frl tho please brag about the good things in your life. Not materialistic, but what made you happy.

The_Fluffy_Puppy02

@KelseyPrincessOfSamo New friends maybe? Or just flip it on them when they complain, and quickly remind them of shooting you down.
Anything they try to use to justify themselves after that will probably be nonsensical. Relish it. Go in thinking you're the bomb.

But no one cares about me saying the things that make my happy. They’re always like: Did I ask? ;-;

Part 2 cause this is so long

With Science, children can be involved and invested in projects and working on things hands-on. You usually can't grab a kid's attention with a sheet of paper holding a bunch of markings that keeps them in a desk for a long period of time when they want to be playing outside.

Kids are attracted to Science because of how free-form and fun it can be. They're not often grounded by specific rules, and can experiment with whatever works together. They can do fun things and witness it in their real world. Science is like juice, and Math is like water. You'd have to be older to develop a taste for water, but you can easily like sugar at any age.

I like Math because it has a certain flow of it. If you get something strange, you probably did something wrong. With Science, I can never tell if something is right or wrong. You can come up with a result you didn't want but works anyway. You can screw up and go any which way. Like walking a straight line in a field while looking down. There is a pretty high chance that you're not going to be perfectly straight and even go the wrong way. You have to pay close attention to stay on track. Pay even closer attention and you can catch glimpses of where you are and need to go.

Scientists have to learn how things work together in the most random of ways. You just have to memorize it. If a Mathematician came up on something they struggled with, they can slowly figure it out (again, utilizing the flow of the rules) and get where they need to be. Science has no flow of rules and you can go off any which way at any given time. It takes serious effort to get where you need to be and I seriously respect Scientists for that reason. To me, the rules are a crutch that I need to keep myself in order, but Scientists can do that without a crutch like the rules, and I am always amazed by that.

Now, before you read this, imagine I'm a stand-up comedian. But I'm not funny at all, just sharing thoughts. (There is a TL;DR at the end)

In my personal opinion, Scientists are so much more impressive than Mathematicians. with me here. This could just be because Math comes easily to me, and Science not so much, but IN MY OPINION Scientists are much more impressive.

Because Scientists have to learn all this stuff about how random things work together to create a universe, and there are so many things to explore right from the get-go. When presented with Science as a child, one of the selling points is how vast the study is.

But with Math, the selling point is boring numbers all day and no one likes it. But then you have to pursue it to see how amazing it is.

Well, both work in similar ways, with everything just... lining up and making sense. You can use past knowledge to fill in blanks in present studies. With Math, it's much more obvious (to me), but Science seems so much more free-form.

Either study has so many options to specialize in. With Math, you have Algebra, Geometry, etc. With Science you have Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Astronomy, each branching out to get more specific the deeper you delve into it. But only Science has that immediately out there as something to focus on.

To be fair though, a child can say "I want to learn more about sea turtles. And people can tell them how they live, what they eat, what hurts them, and all that stuff without having to teach them a lot. With math, you HAVE to learn basics. You don't have to learn cell theory to know what a turtle eats. You have to learn numbers then functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to learn anything else.
