Trapped in School by @aggirl53
Here's to an honest review:
This is one of those so sweet, so sweet books that are utterly cliché yet utterly lovable. It's a classic tale that was written brilliantly. The scene was set so that the confessions seemed to just have had to come out at that time. There was nothing rushed or hasty to the plot and that in essence is what separates the greats from the goods.
There was no smidgen of "overdoneness" so it didn't seem unbelievable and that is another plus for you @aggirl53, this story could have happened to my best friend and that's what I loved.
If you begin to write a story and your premise is realistic, keep that premise. Don't make the characters ugly today and good-looking the next with a shop to the mall. That has got to be the most annoying plot twists to read in a book and the biggest turn-off on a good story.
So good work, @aggirl53, you did it again.
Writing is an artform. It takes practice to be perfect.
Blessings to you and love from another sistah......
