I am The_LadyofTheLake, an English-born keeper of old lore, weaving tales where tragedy walks hand-in-hand with wonder. My stories drift between history and myth, shaped by medieval shadows and kingdoms forever on the brink of ruin. I write of forbidden love, doomed heirs, gentle souls cast into wicked courts, and the rise and fall of power like tides upon the shore.

I am drawn to characters who hesitate at the edge of innocence and corruption, to sweet hearts surviving cruel ages, to princes and princesses tangled in prophecy, politics, and their own undoing. If a tale feels like a forgotten ballad sung beside a dying fire, then it belongs here.

My realms include:
House of the Dragon / ASOIAF - dragons, daggers, and courtly deceit.
Planet of the Apes - fractured loyalty, survival, and empathy in savage times.
Original Historical Romances - medieval feudalism, forbidden devotion, scheming lords and soft-hearted knights.

As my name suggests, I walk in Arthurian footsteps.
I am the Lady of the Lake - judge of kings, herald of downfall, and quiet hand in the shaping of stories. Some say she rises from water; others swear she walks unnoticed among courts, carrying a sword born of sorrow and prophecy.
