The  author  is  addicted  to  reading,  which  critically  hampers  her  studies  (and  friends  telling  their  stories  because  they  don't  believe  she's  capable  of   having  her  eyes  on  a  book  and  ears  on  the  conversation-  which  she  totally  is,  btw)  and  writing  stories,  a  necessity  since  everything  inspires  her  to  jot  down  a  page's  worth  in  her  journal,  which  in  turn,  inspires  her  to  add  another  chapter  to  any  (or  all)  of  the  stories  she's  working  on.
