Umm hi I dont know if it's proper of me to contact you like this. This is the writer of Quarter Life Crisis by the way
Earlier this morning you had tagged me asking another reader about QLC. I was just thinking of getting back to you about your questions myself when the other person replied. And honestly I could have said the same okay maybe not using the same exact words but the bare bones would have been same.

Thank for tagging me in that conversation. Truly wow I haven't recieved such a in the face reality check ever not that my story has a very wide reader base. Some readers did approach me with their reservations but those were specifically related to few parts. It made me truly see QLC for what it was as a whole story stripped of all layers, nuances and emotions. Maybe I unnecessarily have too high attachment and expectations for a story that can be easily summed up in such a manner. I would have let the other reader know this as well if only I hadn't been blocked. Thanks once again! Hope you have a good day

@The_Plutonian Please please please don't apologize. You were just feeling out the book before committing to it and its very much something that I could have done myself as a reader. There have been more than a few readers who read the story more than halfway before realizing the story didn't suit them and it wasn't what they were looking for. Honestly can't blame them because even I am guilty of leaving my fair share of books halfway. So really you saved yourself a few hours.
Thanks for your kind words about my writing skills and that means so much more than about the story tropes which are very subjective to everyone's personal taste. I think I have taken enough of your time now. It was nice to have been made your acquaintance : D <3

Hey! I saw your comment and thought I’d recommend my story because your reading taste feels really similar to mine ❤️

My book is called Guarded Heart, and it starts with a fun, warm school environment cousins, siblings, teasing, banter, friendship, and found family vibes. Nothing heavy at first just characters growing, bonding, and living their teenage life.

As the story moves forward, the emotional depth starts showing.

The main character, Aria, is a quiet girl who joins a new school. She’s kind, observant and soft, but she also struggles with her past and doesn’t open up easily. She doesn’t trust fast, but once she loves someone, she loves deeply.

Then there’s Shivansh calm, patient, emotionally mature, and protective in a silent way. He’s not the arrogant type he’s the one who sees people and understands them. Their bond starts slow: stolen glances, small conversations, shared silence… and eventually trust.

Around them, there are two more couples forming Rohan & Avni (enemies to lovers energy) and Saavi & Akshat (friends, hidden feelings, tension). The friend group becomes a huge part of the story supporting each other through school chaos, family moments, jealousy, heartbreak, healing and love.

As the chapters progress, the book becomes more emotional and personal. Aria’s past starts affecting her present, and Shivansh steps up not to “fix” her, but to stand beside her while she learns to heal.

So overall, the book has: ✨ slow-burn romance
          ✨ emotional growth and trust-building
✨ friendship, family bonds and comfort
          ✨ supportive male lead
✨ characters with depth and personality
✨ moments that feel warm, soft, relatable and real

If you ever want to try a story that feels like comfort + emotion + slow-burn love, I’d love for you to give Guarded Heart a chance.
No pressure — just sharing in case it matches your vibe ✨

4Hey, If you love college romance books then this one will be good choice. Also it's a multicouple of 4 couples and their tropes are like,
          -Grumpy × Sunshine
          -Opposites Attracts
-Professor × Student (uno reverse with her being professor and they are almost same age)
          -Old School Romance

Do check it out once, thank you ♡♡
