okay so I remember a while back you were looking for shows featuring Desi MCs and I'm part of the way through S3 of this one you might like
to preface Mindy Kaling is one of the producers and I know she's kind of known for a copy/paste Desi MC that lowkey risks becoming a stereotype, and this show definitely has it for the first season or so, but she's honestly gotten way more complex than that and I think her being one of four MCs helps
I actually found this when I was looking for more lesbian rep in comedy shows- this one features Renee Rapp as a closeted lesbian MC, but it also has this character named Bela who is a Desi girl aspiring to become a comedy writer, which is really hard because comedy is a male dominated industry, and she's a person of color.
But anyway the show is called The Sex Lives of College Girls and it's on Max; the premise is these four girls are randomly put in a suite together and they navigate adjusting to college while becoming friends with each other. Just a heads up you should not watch it with your parents home because there is some (a lot of) nudity in the first half of the first season. Also a lot of the plotlines are Title IX based so warnings for some depictions of SA.
But it's super funny and Bela was one of my favorite characters right away so I thought I'd let you know!

Like if they're going to keep uploading stuff to Instagram I'll just watch there even tho I hate meta but I know one creator wasn't uploading any good videos to her Instagram until the ban Lol, I remember VideoStar from when I was in middle school, it was just this app where you could take a video of yourself lip syncing to royalty free music with weird filters over yourself XD Glad to hear it's upped its game a little (although Space Unicorn will forever live on in my heart)

@TheRedSourPatchKid No that sucks!! Why would they have that feature, it feels like such an invasion of privacy. At least (from what I have heard) TikTok is back (although they’re riding Trump’s dick right now so it’s perfectly understandable if you don’t want to go back) However CapCut is still not back :( this girl in Spanish is going to teach me how to use VideoStar on Tuesday, so at least I have that to look forward to

Like, I'm seeing people who probably aren't out who liked wlw dating advice videos. And I'm not out to everyone I'm friends with so uh, awesome, love this for us. Also like what even is the alternative to capcut??? Like iMovie?
