Acting can be stressful, especially auditions, but it’s a lot of fun! It really depends on what kind of acting that you’re interested in. I don’t know much about film acting, but I do a lot of non-paid stage acting. What I would recommend is finding a local community theatre and checking that out. Usually community theatre is very welcoming, and the productions are a lot of fun. It’s all about getting out of your head and letting go. I get nervous before every audition and production, but don’t doubt yourself and remember that you’re doing it for fun. Never assume that you’re the best or that you don’t have anything to learn, cause as an actor you’re always looking to learn and improve. Take critiques and really listen to advice and you can improve quickly. I hope that helps!
