Crazy Redheaded Mum of two terrors who is an avid reader.
Reading is my spiritual zen, my calm, my own world and reading takes me to places that my imagination and my whole being strives on.
When I'm reading I neglect everything and everyone around me.
"Mum!"said a tiny voice that somehow sounded so loud.
My brain starts to slowly focus and the word Mum is foreign to my human self. As I look up I'm reminded that I have responsibilities, that I have two humans who will need feeding and watering. I look to my book and then back to those piercing blue eyes and eventually sigh. Those moments when I am lost in my own bit of heaven, my being focuses on whats ahead. I close the novel I am currently to engrossed in and submit to the 6-year-old who I have neglected to feed!
How many of you do this?
5 more minutes let me just read this last chapter! 5 chapters later and a lot of unheard demands. We give in and close the pages to a beautiful and captivating story and join the real world.
The children are now fed and full and no longer dehydrated 😂!
Back to the book...
I have a rather eclectic collection of books, so if anyone has any recommendations of stories or authors, then drop me a msg please!
