I have realized that some people are probably unaware of resources documenting every single Nico di Angelo reference in the riordanverse so therefore: I'm gonna post it. I'll do Will second. It'll be like a cool little reference material on this account

Okay somehow my When Villains Rise fanfics-except-I'm-the-author have been read in SIX countries which means either my book has been read in six different countries (which ?? seems unlikely ?????? right ???? i wish amazon told me </3) or some of you were like "ehhhhh fuck it, it's queer. i'll read it" despite never reading the book itself LMAO

Also: I'm supposed to be starting work on Will Solace's Diary this month. Does anyone happen to have a list of all Will Solace mentions in the riordanverse? I have a doc for Nico but not one for Will

Published the alternate universe plots for When Villains Rise. All plots twist parts of the first book, When Villains Rise. I did not include anything that might be considered spoilers for book 3--after I release the third book, I'll publish the rest :)

For those who have read When Villains Rise:
          
          I have some alternate universe plots with the When Villains Rise characters. If you want me to post them, let me know! Tbh they’re almost sort of like fanfiction of my own characters except that I’m the author so it doesn’t technically qualify as fanfiction LMAO
          
          The first major one I have is an alternate plotline where the Protectors find Night in the woods after Troy has hurt him badly. Night doesn’t trust them and believes they’re going to use his injured state as a chance to arrest him while he’s vulnerable. Instead, the Protectors take him to a hospital to get him treatment. He learns what it’s like to be cared for for the first time in his life…until Troy comes to take him back, and the Protectors are forced to fight to keep the newest addition to their team. 
          
          The second one involves an alternate story where the Inatum never got destroyed. Instead, Night managed to reprogram it to turn on at a specific time—a time at which he and the Protectors will hopefully be long gone, letting the Inatum consume everything around it in lieu of powers. When Troy finds out that Night has betrayed him, he loses his mind—and Night and the other Protectors just barely manage to escape as the Inatum starts to suck up everything it can—including parts of the planet itself. We start the story here. With the Protector’s ship a long distance away, they must travel to it while avoiding the earthquakes and avalanches caused by the Inatum and also while avoiding Troy’s cameras and fury. Star and Night get separated from the rest of the Protectors, and they have to survive on their own for two weeks trying to reach the ship to get home. 
          
          There are also some oneshots, but I can’t post all of those yet because a lot of them would spoil events of the third book which will be released probably this month! 
          
          Anyway, lmk if you want the fanfics-but-also-not-technically-fanfics!

I am so tired of people using AI to write their fics—or to create their art, in general. 
          
          It’s not art if an AI makes it because art inherently is about emotion and pieces of the human experience—something an AI can never understand. A mimicry of art is not art. AI cannot create art. 
          
          I say this as a computer science major who loves AI for many other purposes: AI does not belong in the arts in the way it is currently being used. 

I feel like the best sibling on earth bc this year was my first year of having a Real Job^TM and therefore I used this money to buy my siblings the coolest Christmas presents on earth and I’m so excited for them to open their gifts!! I’ve been looking forward to this for so long!! 

ch 4 and ch 5 of stealing your heart out now :) both are a bit shorter than my normal chapter length, but i don't want to push the chapters beyond their natural limit and end up sacrificing quality, so here we are
