As a child, My Neighbour Totoro was one of my favourite films. Though it has continued to hold a place in my heart through growing up, it has been a few years since I have seen it. Having been rampaging through my Ghibli collection, I have finally had the chance to return to Totoro and the inspiration it has caused is, like the film, quite magical.
So, I have decided to start a new project. From today I am going to start work on my first , self assigned, reflective essay. I hope to make this a series in which I write about my thoughts in regards to themes and issues faced through Studio Ghibli films. The first one will be titled A Shout Into Darkness, The Bravery Of Satsuki And Mei In My Neighbour Totoro.
I am very excited to start working on this project as I have so many thoughts racing around my mind, I cannot wait to share them with the wonderful Wattpad community. If you are interested in this project please give me a follow so that you may watch the work unfold.
