So I've decided to start publishing my book Control, Bond of a Familiar as I think it's at a point where the story is where for now I want to leave it. There is more to it, but I don't see myself writing anymore for it.
I do have another idea in mind, though, for another book, but don't get too excited for it to be released any time soon.
Is anyone interested in a teaser for my next book? I can't say when it will be complete, but I'm getting there with the story. I'm tempted to post chapter 1 of the book up on here for you guys to have a look at.
So 1, yes, I'm around, and 2 I am still writing. I have a few projects in the works, but I'm not happy with sharing incomplete projects and risking them being abandoned. I want to only have work I know are complete on my account, so I am holding off on publishing until any work is complete.
Then, I will just need to publish the full story on a regular schedule.
I'm not sure how long those stories are going to take but I'm sure they will end up on here in the end.
I'm thinking of posting a short story on here I've written soon. I don't have anything longer form to share, but it seems some people do like my work.
There's a high chance I won't be uploading stories here on Wattpad anymore. There's been a lot of stories that have been removed both that might well have broken TOS and those that don't make any sense to have done so.
I've already stopped writing directly in the app about a year ago due to data loss issues.
But there are some bad rumors going around about the kind of content this app is removing and how it's going about doing it. There seems to be a bias against LGBT stories either in staff or as some have claimed there may be an AI being used to scan stories for keywords.
I'm not sure where I'm going to be going, but this isn't the same app I used when I was a teen and started publishing on a few years ago. What's sad is I've made friends here, even my best friend, and there are some awesome writers on here.
@Thegigl It doesn't matter if they're sad; I'd still like to read them. Everything doesn't always have to have a happy ending.
@missdomeena that story is one I don't auctually know what happens with. My other stories I know the larger plot but don't want to write them due to what happens in it. All I can say is I don't think anything bad happens to the little girl.
@Thegigl I'm kind of disappointed that I never got to find out what happened to Elena's daughter in the book unregistered maybe it's better that I don't know I kind of wish it was a longer book like the other one that you did the book on registered was good for what I got to read but it was so short I am hoping one day that you will continue the book unregistered or maybe start a new that's similar but longer.
So I've come to the decision to mark my incomplete books as discontinued. The reason being that while I know what is going to happen at the end of them, I can't bring myself to write them.
I apologize to those who cared about and were looking forward to reading more of those stories. I may end up unpublished them at some stage, but I haven't fully decided if I want to yet.
@Thegigl Don't worry about if people like the direction the story is going in or not. Your stories go how you want them to, not how anyone else wants them to go.

For anyone wondering what I've been up to, I've been quiet on here upload wise as I'm working on a few writing projects. I have two stories in progress at the moment, one more a novella length and another longer romance story.
Also, I'll be honest I'm not sure what to do about some of the incomplete stories I have on here. Whole I do like the concepts I don't really know if I'm ever going to keep working on them.
In some ways, I wonder if it would be best to just take them down, but also, they are a part of my writing journey...
What are peoples thoughts on those stories? I hope you can be patient with me as I write my new books. Trust me they will be worth the wait.
@Thegigl People may be disappointed that they don't know the endings if you leave them up.

I hope you guys like the story, and im so proud of myself for having finished a story. I started this back in late 2022, and now, in early 2024, it's complete.
I know there were some big gaps between posting chapters, but this is the end of the story. There's more that happens afterward, of course, like any story. But this is where the story I wanted ends, and I'm happy with what I've ended up with.
The final word count is 45,371 words

If you're wondering why you've gotten two notifications about this chapter it's due to the fact it was bought to my attention that an event described in the chapter didn't make sense for the situation and character dynamics. Due to this, I decided to unpublish the chapter while I worked on figuring out how to rephrase the scene in order for things to go the way I needed them to.
I hope you enjoy the chapter, this story is nearly finished with only one chapter to go that just needs to be adjusted (I wrote it months ago lol) to fit with the current version of the story.
