I have seen a lot of people now saying that we are officially doomed, that U.S is just coming for our oil...
For 28 years Venezuelans have seen NOTHING of that oils, the streets are shit here, and if the Venezuelans were benefiting from that then do please tell me why our minimum wage is 3$ A MONTH.
We've been trying to spread the message and ask for help, 8 MILLION people left the country, that's literally 20% of our population, and no one asked anything? there was never a war against another country in Venezuela, but there was a violent dictatorship.
It is really sad that during almost 30 years we've screamed for help, and no one listened.

@Skier3star I honestly don’t think the people screeching about Trump coming for the oil, being worse than Maduro, and being a dictator, etc. know how oil in Venezuela even works and how oil in places like Saudi Arabia works. The oil in Venezuela and Saudi Arabia are different. I’ve seen protestors carry the Colombian flag instead of the Venezuelan flag. I just shake my head at it all, man. Stay safe and keep your chin up, dude. Writing might help taking your mind off things for a bit, if you think it will help.

I feel like this is something I have to express and not keeping it to myself but apparently now every single person on the internet is an expert on exterior politics.
People are treating Venezuelans as stupid because they are celebrating. "Trump is just coming for your oil" Yeah well, no one bombs another country, spend thousands of dollars in a military operation for fucking CHARITY. And what the hell do they think Maduro was doing with the oil? Keeping it safe? The fucking government was giving it away to the Russia and China.
It's not like I'm a Trump supporter but we have lived 28 years of our lives in a dictatorship, ever since I was born I've lived in a dictatorship, I actually participated in one of the protests when I was fifteen years old, I saw cops with shotguns, tanks, shooting against people with hand made shields and stones... How just teenagers were suddenly "Disappeared" after the protests while on T.V Maduro and his people were literally dancing.
More than 38k victims of torture and state violence
More than 15k of political arrest, most of them being under age.
10K Extrajudicial executions.
468 Murders in protest.
More than 8 thousand cases of violations against human rights registered.
8 millions of Venezuelans, migrated in search of a better future and the god damn list keeps going.
Yes, we are celebrating that Maduro is arrested, and there are still corruption in the government, and we also know that it was the only way. "You guys should have gone to the streets, protest" We did, and we got innocent people killed, fucking kids were murdered.
Neomar Landes was an icon in one of these protest, he was on the front until he was bruttaly murdered and shot. His age? Seventeen...
Only the people here knows what we been through, so yes we are celebrating that Maduro is out.

@Theguythateatsbread man, I don’t blame you. Hopefully, you’ll be able to relax a little bit more now and get some more writing done in addition to other things outside of writing. But yeah, they know nothing. My own family on my mother’s side on both her mother and father’s sides had to deal with enduring both the Soviets and the National Socialists during the era of WWII, finally able to get the hell out of Europe right around the 50’s. None of these people understand what the heck they are talking about. They see one little headline and automatically assume they know everything there is know. Shit, I don’t even think you cannot even find information at all from the massacre that happened when the Soviets rolled into the village my grandfather was born in because it’s now known under a different name in Romania. I’ve seen footage of morons in NYC saying to Venezuelans that they betrayed their country while they are cheering. I hate those kinds of people. They’re more worried about Trump than any of the actual people affected because they think they know everything.

Hey guys, Venezuela is currently under invasion, multiple explosions in military zones here, I'm alright atm it's 4:11 am and I got up because I heard an explosion.
I'm safe, for now. But I would be lying if I said I'm not paranoid, I'm hearing planes as well.

So uh... Shit, I'm sorry I haven't been active, I can't write at all at the moment, the reason? Anxiety and depression seems to be hitting a bit hard lately.
But to add more, I'm paranoid as well, I have no idea what might happen at this point, I've been saving up for a passport and hopefully to get out of the country just to get where I am, there's no fights because of the blockade and I am getting crazy because I don't know when are they going to invade.
Author will get through this, hopefully. I still have yet to listen Breach by twenty one pilots at least 200 more times:)
