New chapter for the 'Adapt, Conquer, Adapt again' is out!

Wasn’t satisfied with the second part of Memento Mori, and unpublished the chapter. If I have time, I will repost it tomorrow, if I have the time after Work.

The Prologue to 'Adapt, Conquer, Adapt Again' is back out!

Hi everyone... I've been dead for a while. This announcement is a bit on the long side, but I do plan on coming back -- properly this time.
          
          On a more personal note, I've realized that I've sort of outgrown the whole Male-Reader format. No shade at all to anyone who enjoys it -- it's just not where my head is anymore. Lately, I've been much more drawn to self-inserts. They give me more freedom to write stories that feel grounded, emotional, and consistent, without having to constantly bend things around a blank-slate protagonist.
          
          In my GI x JJk story, I've made a poll that'll ask how I should go about it going forward, so please check that out if you like that story in particular.
          
          Also, rewriting my Nikke story is pretty much a given, especially with all the new events and the anniversary content that's come out.
          
          As for my update schedule: real life comes first. Between work and other responsibilities, my uploading can and will be a little bit unpredictable. That said, I do aim to post at least once per month. If I miss that goal, I'll make the next chapter longer to compensate.
          
          To put it more clearly:
          
          A normal chapter will be at least 2.5k words.
          
          If I miss a month, the next chapter will be 5k+ words.
          
          If I miss more time, the word count will scale accordingly.
          
          And if I have extra time (holidays, for example), chapters may be doubled or even tripled.
