First chapter of Liwayway Rising. Nope, no matter how tempting, I won't make storyboards for this one.

So... I just published the prologue for Liwayway Rising. It really is just a combination of all the storyboards I've had in the past, and the stories I imagine when I'm alone or have free time. For this novel (or maybe novella? short story?), I have no solid framework for it. This is the first time, I think, that I'll write without a particular direction, and I'll let my hands type on the keyboard based on what happens to my characters. Not exactly without direction, since these stories do have beginnings and endings on paper and in my mind, but imaginations can be limited.

One paragraph story:

His nose is on my chest, lulling as we are in each other's arms. It's like he's trying to sniff out my love for him, if something remains. But he won't smell anything. He'll only feel the beat of my heart. And he won't smell anything, because the scent of my love resides with him. He should smell himself.
