            Modern AU, I remember you did a book called “Some kind of strange Magic?”
            Instead of the reader getting teleported to The outsiders, the outsiders comes to them.

I've thought of another, hitchhiker au, the gang is picked up one by one forming their travel group all on their own journeys to find what they think will complete them as they traverse places unknown to them.

@Therealcatrapper Zombie apocalypse au, au where instead of cruising the town for kicks, they check out haunted places, circus au, this one is just a silly concept I like to think about: where Johnny and Pony both fall asleep on the train to Windrexville and miss it, waking up in some big city they have to navigate while the gang (mostly Dally, since he thought he knew where they were) worries their heads off trying to find them, theater au, idk most of these are pretty generic
