Hello! I hope you are having a lovely day! I'm also writing a Moriarty book, and I was wondering if you could give me any "hints" about how you write his thoughts and plans because they are amazing!

No, thank you! Your book is awesome! Would you be open to reading what I have so far and let me know what you think?

@pastelolivee I'm not sure if I really have any specific hints to be honest -- It's tricky, especially if you want the relationship to not seem forced. In the show, he doesn't seem to have any capacity for emotion/sentiment, the closest he gets is obsession or attraction with Sherlock and Eurus. But I mostly got it by thinking through a bit myself, and reading other fics helped to. There's one on Ao3 by WIckedlyEmma that I think does a fantastic job of portraying Moriarty, and another one called The Great Game by N0vablue. Both do a really good job of portraying his unpredictability, which I feel like I've missed a bit. Overall, if you're trying to write Moriarty, I would suggest looking at other fics and taking the bits and pieces you think are best. It is your fic, and therefore sort of your character -- If he ends up technically a little out of character, then that just makes your fic more unique compared to other peoples'! Hope this helps, and thanks for all your comments and votes on my fic!
