Very random, but I had no one to talk to about this, and I feel like I'll burst if I don't share.
I know nowadays, people use AI to write full-fledged stories. The just give it the plot (maybe), and either ChatGPT or whatever AI they use goes to town with it. But it pisses me when the "authors" themselves don't go through what it gives them.
I'm here, reading a story, first, the dialogue feels very... Stiff
"You hurt me"
"... I know"
"Is that all you have to say?"
"Yes"
You know those stories that is trying to seem too... Emotional? Philosophical? I don't know.
Then I continue reading and see "Is this angst enough or do you need more?" Or something that shows that the AI was asking for their opinion.
If you can't write, and use the aid of AI (which, again, is not a problem. It's only a problem to me when you can tell the story has no... Soul? It sounds very... Flat, like it's trying too much to be something it's not), but the least you can bloody do is PROOF READ BEFORE UPLOADING!!!!!
I read one, and I'll continue reading it, but I'm not going to comment or give votes again... Or maybe I'm just taking it too far. But it's so upsetting. First of all, the plot changes suddenly, like the author or the AI forgot the plot. I read one where character A divorced character B because it was an arranged marriage and B got A pregnant, whereas B loves C. Down the line, the story changed to C falsely accusing A, which made them have a divorce. B finds A when he's about to give birth and goes on saying how he's sorry for not trusting him or investigating the issue, and I'm like ???
Where did that come from???
I can't tell if writing it out now makes me feel better or more upset, but

@unknownzz119 I do agree yk I tried using chatgpt lol but it's just not good ( i don't even use it for my projects and stuff ) TwT like even if I try to give good prompts it doesn't work for me as it doesn't rmrbr the story how we do and it's not like we can share our whole mind with it. And I did rather write the chapter than write a big ass promt to AI I'm lazy af and it irks me a lot.. I use grammarly lol been using ever since it's like a necessity now, the features are amazing for stories. And with flat i agree it just seems dull like you're just reading no emotions at all.. and i might have read this one too.. This is like the main reason I truly love and appreciate all the authors who actually write and you can tell it's them who wrote it when reading cus the tone is there. Like story writing is so hard TwT my friend forced me to get better at it like few yrs back cus she is and I sucked lol and i still suck at it.. AI annoys me so much even if it's for a assignment or smtg TwT like I crash out while proof reading and like how are people using it? Am i just dumb and using it the wrong way or what? And no problem at all we all are here to share our opinions it does help when you have it out of your mind.
