As first time, self-published poetry goes, this collection by Northwest poet, Sven Garber, covers a fair amount of territory. The free form verse allows the blunt, often gritty voice of Sven to grab emotions straight from the gut and transfer them to the page. It is not meant to be pretty or uplifting. He is not going to sugar coat it for you: life hurts like hell at times.
Inquisitive and energetic, I'm a traveler - a would be nomad. My philosophical, broad-minded approach to life motivates me to wander far and wide in the search for the meaning of life. I'm honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere, with a passion for justice. I'm on the side of the underdog in society and will fight for any cause I believe to be just. I balance loyalty with independence.
