Hey everyone, so I just updated Through the Times and I want to address a few things. First, thank you so much for 6k reads! Second, I don't know if anyone will bring this up but I feel the need to address it. I'm aware that the cast list for TTT isn't really diverse. Because their parents are canon book/movie characters I didn't want to drastically change their looks. That being said I do plan on adding other characters to the story and they will be much more diverse, and some of the characters that I have so far ARE apart of the LQBTQ+ community. I have 1 book in my drafts that does have a cast list and I'm going to admit that cast list also has 0 diversity. I'm going to change that, I promise.
Ik you might not care about all that but wattpad has a common theme of you must be skinny, white, and short to be pretty. Unfortunately this is how social media and society's standards are, and that causes people to not make diverse casts list because they think anything different is "ugly." So although one story won't make a huge difference, but if we spread the word and bring awareness to this issue, maybe we can see a change.
Sorry for all the serious stuff but it felt important. Thanks
