Hey guys! Long time no see.
I've privated/unpublished The Rain's Sentinel for now. It's been ten years since I wrote it, and while it's popularity is touching and writing it definitely helped teenaged me through a lot I had going on... upon reflection, there's content in there that I was in no position to be exploring and is frankly not handled well. It's inconsistent with the digital footprint I'd like to have.
I still have it though! All 137 chapters (the original versions of the rewritten ones have been lost to time and old laptops, unfortunately). If I can find a way to compile it into some sort of PDF I'd be happy to share it with anyone who found comfort in it, since I've been told that a few times over the years by some loyal rereaders. I haven't written for fun in years, but I'm considering popping up on ao3 to write for other fandoms in the future.
In case anyone's curious what I've been up to: I've graduated college and am preparing for law school right now. I honestly attribute TRS and fic in general to my entire life path; it sparked my love of writing and introduced me to communities where I've made lifelong friends. I owe it, and you guys, a lot.
