          Jonathan here, from Spain. I write books too. I recently signed up for this platform out of curiosity, but I can’t say it’s exactly what I hoped it would be.
          
          I’m always open to advice, what’s one thing you’ve loved or learned here?

@ThornsAndTales07 Yes Thank you. That's exactly why I'm trying this platform out. I want to be having direct conversations with my readers. As I am, I do publish to kDp platform where my book is sold and I get the money. 
            I've been doing that for years and now I feel like conversing with me readers, that's why I look for suggestions and someone recommended this platform to me.

            Nice to meet you! I am glad to hear that you love my story, and I will check out your story too. I have been using Wattpad for about three years now and just recently started using the platform for writing. One thing I love about Wattpad is how readers can comment on writers' stories. Comments allow writers to receive feedback, positive and negative, throughout each chapter. I have learned over the years that Wattpad is a great platform for publishing early work and short stories. However, larger completed stories may be harder to monetize. Of course, if you are looking to get your work out there, then Wattpad is a good place to start. I would keep in mind that Wattpad is better for building an audience who will follow you throughout your writing journey than for publishing completed books with tens of thousands of words. This is what I have observed based on the years I have read stories on Wattpad. I recommend you get advice from writers who have written on the platform for a longer time.  Overall, I think you should give Wattpad another chance. It isn't perfect, but you will find some pretty cool people.
