Brit and Damien

Hello, my loves. I will be away on vacation for the rest of this week and part of the next, though Damien (and possibly Jason or Jake, if they have time or are so inclined) will still be here. Messages will be answered when I’m back! ~Brit

Sitting around, thinking of all the memories, from Andy's joining to when Cole and I  joined, then all the others. This was home for us. Our sanctuary, a safe refuge. Everyone was falling in love, and fighting for it, because being in love meant something back then. Ah, young love. Makes me smile to think of it - but I feel so old now. Because all love does is cheat, and lie, and break hearts; because commitments don't mean anything... *looks down at the single ring in my hand* Not even this, I guess. It doesn't mean anything when someone says, "You. I want you forever and ever." Because forever doesn't last.
          
          Because love doesn't exist. *sighs and drops the ring in the dirt, brushes off my hands on my jeans, gets up and leaves* ~Jake

We miss you. 

Back for a bit... the whole gang's together for a couple of weeks of rest and recuperation (yes even the inactive ones!) So if we're friends and haven't talked in a while, or just a new friendly face... come talk to us. <3 ~Brit

Sudden trip down memory lane, cleaning out old boxes and found a sheet of paper with different usernames Andy wrote down when we first joined this place... *smiles sadly* If anyone remembers XxAdalwulfxX that was him... ~Damien

So... it's been over three years now, since Cole... you know. And I just figured an update was due for everyone. Well, anyone who still cares.
          
          Jake is off working with some hotshot automobile engineering firm, turns out all that time with his bike helped out after all. Got rid of his commitment issues too - yes ladies, he's engaged. c: He still goes to see Cole and Andy every few days. He's healing. We all are.
          
          Jason... well, he's in love. And sappy. And happily off doing an internship at some museum in France. He calls everyday and takes the train down every other weekend. Then he goes with Jake to the cemetery.
          
          Jenny, well, she finished her internship in Germany and promptly landed a job offer so she's permanently moved there now. We all miss her, but God she's so happy when we Skype, excitedly signing about every little new thing. Her curiosity has only grown - I'm so glad.
          
          Damien is temporarily living in Scotland, taking care of his siblings and legal issues since his dad passed, but he's working a great job and for once, he's looking forward to everything that comes.
          
          Brandy is officially a tattoo artist! How freaking cool is that? I got one from her and it hurt like hell but it looks beautiful. Also, she finally found a nice guy. Surprisingly, he's a total nerd (I would never have thought it) and she's head over heels.
          
          Arran, Cerise and Ivor started a business together, and so far, they're doing good! Ivor is working through his anxiety and depression, Arran reconciled with his family and Cerise is... really into yoga. Super intense. xD
          
          As for me, well, third year of university. I still have no idea what I want to do, but I'm not scared anymore. Fear has become, well if not alien, at least very well known. We're all growing in ways we'd never have anticipated. 
          
          And we're hopeful. ~Brit
