We are known by the Greeks as the Moirai (moi-rahy), also recognized by a series of other cultures. The Romans know us as the Parcae, the ancient Germanics worshiped us three sisters under the title Norns. In English, we are known as the Fates.
Perhaps you've heard of us? We are the sparing ones, the deciders, the reason you were passed up on the street by that taxi driver that later made the news for crashing into the side of the building and reaping no survivors. We are the reason the fire that razes your house also takes your life, choking your lungs with smoke and slowly melting the skin of your bones. We are the reason every mortal on Earth lives and dies.
We are the spinner, the allotter, and the unturning. The Three Moirai.

Clotho and Hannah - spin the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle

Lachesis and Marina - measure the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod

Atropos and Courtney - the cutters of the thread of life

We're three friends and three fates here to share our short stories with the world. Enjoy!
