Aight yall i’m sorry but imma keep it a band with yall, I damn near hate When You Get Back nowadays. I don’t like it. At all. The plot, the writing, the characters, the structure, the tone, none of it. It’s not something i’m proud of nor do I want representing me as a writer.
          
          I don’t do fanfiction anymore, that’s not me and I refuse to have that be my magnum opus.
          
          I’m onto new shit.
          
          Wattpad don’t have a good rep for supporting original works of fiction (i.e. non-fanfiction) but this new stuff is shit I put my heart into. Now whether it catches on or not, i’m not gonna get my hopes up nor force nobody to read it. That ain’t the purpose anyway. It’s there to show where i’m at as a writer right now and put my imagination into words because its damn good.
          
          Not tryna upset anybody or piss anybody off cause its their favorite book, they got memories attached to it and allat, hell I do to. But i’m grown now and my main thing is about staying authentic to me and that means showcasing work that is original, organic and personal to me.

And to make room for it that means getting rid of the old. As of right now, I'm taking When You Get Back down when it hits 100k.

And I got new stuff.

Aight ya’ll its been a long time and I know I been MIA and here’s the deal
          
          I’m packing up and moving on from wattpad for the time being, lots of life and growing up done happened over time and honestly i’ve just grown out of that Jodeci shit and fanfiction in general. I’m still writing though but i’m trying to take it more seriously in the 2020s and do big things with my writing. So either some of ya’ll favorite things ain’t here either because A) I’m taking it to revise it and possibly publish it or B) I just aint tryna have my account be so Jodeci affiliated. 
          
          Either way thanks for all the support over the past two years, ya’ll birthed me as a writer. I may write actual fiction now but ya’ll saw me when I was still on the training wheels in this hoe so i’ll never forget it. Love ya’ll and keep writing!
